Hex Code Tiles ("the app") is designed to be a fully offline color exploration tool. We believe privacy should be the default, not a feature. This policy explains what data the app handles and what we do (and don't do) with it.
We do not collect any personal data.
The app does not send any information about you, your device, or your activity to any server owned or operated by Hex Code Tiles. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.
The following information is kept inside the app's sandbox on your device only, and is never transmitted off the device:
UserDefaults).Deleting the app removes all of this data.
If you purchase Hex Code Tiles Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit 2). We never see your payment details, and Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, health data, microphone, or any other sensitive system permission. It only asks for the standard StoreKit sandbox permissions when you choose to make a purchase.
The app has no third-party SDKs, no analytics providers, no ad networks, and no crash reporters. The only external service it communicates with is Apple's App Store (for verifying purchases).
The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and complies with COPPA by design (no data collection means no data to protect).
If we ever change what the app does with data — for instance, to add an optional cloud-sync feature — we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above.
