These terms govern your use of Hex Code Tiles (the "App"), an iOS application. By installing or using the App you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store Terms and these terms. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any portion of it.
Some features (Pro themes, custom grid sizes, premium color collections, favorites) require a one-time in-app purchase of "Hex Code Tiles Pro." All purchases are final and processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple per their standard refund policy.
Your Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and restored automatically via "Restore Purchases" on any compatible device.
You agree to use the App only for personal, non-commercial color exploration. You will not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or that attempts to harm, disrupt, or extract data from it.
All content within the App (color names, descriptions, UI, artwork, generated gradients) is owned by Hex Code Tiles and licensed to you under these terms. Hex codes themselves are not copyrightable; you're free to use them in your own work.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Hex Code Tiles or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
We may update the App at any time to add features, fix bugs, or change behavior. We may also change these terms; if we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app or at this URL.
These terms are between you and Hex Code Tiles only — not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent these terms provide for usage rules that are less restrictive than Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), the stricter terms of Apple's EULA apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
